Sustainability
Sustainability has become a buzzword. Here is how we care.
No green labels, no offset badges. Just what a piece is made of, where it came from, and what we did to it.

01 · Materials
Real materials with a past.
GÖRE couture doesn’t start from a bolt of new fabric. It starts from something that already exists and already has a story: a Bundeswehr parachute that jumped, a six-point racing harness, a vintage paper map of Bavaria, sackcloth. We keep the stains, the stencils and the scars — they are the print.
We describe every material precisely on the product page. If a piece is “upcycled”, we say from what. If it isn’t, we don’t say it. That is also what EU consumer law now expects — and it is simply more interesting.
02 · Making
Made by hand, once, in Berlin.
Couture is draped, pinned and sewn in the studio in Friedrichshain by Lennart Wobig. One of one means exactly that — no re-issue, no second run. Every piece is documented, fitted to the wearer and delivered personally or insured.
Streetwear is designed in Berlin on heavy cotton blanks, cut oversized so it lives through years and bodies, and printed in small runs. No overproduction because there is no production line.

03 · Longevity
We repair. For life.
Ecological longevity is not a claim, it’s a service: if a GÖRE piece tears, frays or needs to fit a new body, send a photo to [email protected]. Repairs on couture are free; on streetwear we charge materials only. Re-fits by appointment in the studio.
Care instructions are on every product page. Wash cold, hang dry, iron inside out, keep the parachute away from the washing machine.
Straight answers
Is GÖRE a “sustainable” brand?+
We don’t use that word for ourselves. Instead we say exactly what each piece is made of, where the material came from and what we did to it. Couture starts from existing materials — a decommissioned parachute, a racing harness, a paper map — and is made once, by hand, in Berlin. Streetwear is heavy cotton, cut to last, and we repair it.
Do you repair pieces?+
Yes — repairs and re-fits for the life of the piece. Write to [email protected] with a photo.
Where is GÖRE made?+
Designed and, for couture, sewn by hand in Berlin-Friedrichshain. Streetwear blanks are sourced from partners and printed in Berlin.
